Good Advice

Try not to name your characters with similar names. Even avoid having two characters with names that start with the same letter to avoid confusion in the reader's mind. EG: Cindy and Mindy or MacDonald and Magoo.

If you make up names (like for sci-fi or fantasy) make them easily pronounceable. It is recommended that you don't go over three syllables and try not to put two vowels together or end with the vowel e. BAD EXAMPLES: Duventrifeleneron ... Hoerst ... Tiele.
